Wedding Officiant Venue Rental

The renting officiant is responsible for:

• Communicating with the couple regarding the ceremony
• Preparing and conducting the ceremony
• Confirming the couple has obtained a valid marriage license
• Verifying identification when required
• Completing the marriage license accurately
• Returning or filing the marriage license as required
• Providing any ceremony materials not included with the rental
• Ensuring the couple and guests follow studio policies

Michigan Wedding Studio requires proof of ordination in order to finalize booking.

To protect the studio and provide a consistent experience for every couple, the following policies apply:

• Venue rentals are for wedding ceremonies and marriage license signings only.
• No alcohol is permitted.
• No outside food or beverages are permitted.
• No open flames or candles.
• Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
• Glitter, confetti, rice, flower petals, open flames, and similar materials are prohibited.
• Furniture, décor, floral arrangements, and backdrops may not be moved without approval.
• Nothing may be attached to the walls, ceilings, furniture, or decorations.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Pets are not permitted unless they are trained service animals.
• The studio must be left in the same condition in which it was provided.
• All guests must leave by the end of the reserved rental period.

Additional time may not be available if another ceremony is scheduled immediately afterward.

Additional +$25 per guest outside of agreed upon guest count

All venue rentals must be reserved directly through Michigan Wedding Studio.

A signed venue rental agreement and payment are required to secure the date and time.

Reservations are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Rental payments are non-refundable unless Michigan Wedding Studio cancels the reservation or is unable to provide the space.

Requests to change the date or time are subject to availability and may require an additional fee.

A Michigan Wedding Studio representative will remain on-site during the rental.

The venue attendant will provide access to the studio, answer questions related to the space, greet and direct guests, help operate the music system when needed, replenish refreshment station, and ensure studio policies are followed.

The venue attendant does not replace the couple’s officiant, wedding coordinator, photographer, or planner. Attendant can act as a witness for $25 extra.
